Rose Hill Special Utility District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors. Directors serve staggered three-year terms, with one or more positions scheduled for election each year. Directors are elected at large, with the candidates receiving the highest number of votes elected to the available positions.
Qualifications to Serve as a Director
To qualify to serve on the Rose Hill SUD Board of Directors, a person must:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Be a resident citizen of the State of Texas; and
- Meet at least one of the following:
- Own land subject to taxation within the District;
- Be a user of the District's facilities; or
- Be a qualified voter of the District.
A person seeking election to the District's Board of Directors must file an application for a place on the ballot during the applicable filing period.
